Scheduling posts and the calendar
A finished post is scheduled from its own card: which platforms, which day, what time, and for Instagram or Facebook whether it is a feed post or a Story. Once scheduled it leaves the content feed and moves to the Calendar, on its date.
Everything happens on one screen — the chat on the left, the Content panel on the right. There is no separate posts page, drafts page or library.
Where did my post go after I scheduled it?
To the Calendar, on the date you scheduled it for. This is the single most common reason a post appears to have vanished — it is no longer in the feed because it is on the grid.
Can I reschedule or unschedule?
Yes, both. Drag a post to another day on the Calendar to move it, or open it and use Reschedule on its card. Unschedule sits inside that same Reschedule card — the post returns to Ready with its image and caption intact. Hovering a square on the grid also shows a red calendar-cross that unschedules it.
A scheduled post can be edited without unscheduling first: open it, say what should change, and it is updated in place, keeping its slot and its platforms.
Why did my scheduled post not publish?
Two things to check. Account Settings → Content Posting → Publish Automatically holds every scheduled post when it is switched off. And if any platform chosen at scheduling time is not connected, nothing was scheduled in the first place — the post stayed a draft.
Publishing runs on the hour, so editing a post whose slot is very close can be overtaken by its own publish. iGentitY says so when the slot is under two hours away and can move it back first.
Can I share a schedule with a client?
Yes. Share on the Calendar creates a read-only review link showing the month's scheduled posts, where someone outside the product can leave feedback per post. It can be revoked. This is the only sharing mechanism — there are no team accounts.
Do I have to stay on the page while something generates?
No. The reply comes back straight away with a rough time and the generation continues in the background. You can close the tab, switch account or come back later.
Rough timings: an image is around a minute and a half, and videos run from a few minutes to longer for the narrated formats. The estimate shown is an opening guess, not a deadline.
Will I be notified when it is ready?
Not by push or browser alert — neither exists. The Content panel updates itself: the card shows progress while it builds and becomes a finished, reviewable card when it is done, and a strip above the message box shows what is in flight. Nothing is written into the chat when a background post completes.
Publishing is different. When a post actually goes out, iGentitY confirms it in the chat and links straight to the published post on each platform.
There is an AI Generation Notifications email preference under Settings → Email, which governs generation-related emails rather than in-app alerts.
