How iGentitY learns your brand

At signup iGentitY reads your website — its text, colours, logo and imagery — and turns that into a starting brand profile: overview, audience, positioning, products and brand voice. Everything it infers is editable.

A short set of questions fills in what a website does not say, such as how customers should get in touch.

Where did my company description come from?

Your own website, read once, at the start. It is a starting point rather than a verdict, so a description that is out of date or slightly wrong is expected and quick to fix.

If your site was unreachable at signup — blocked, or behind a login — the brand will have started close to empty rather than wrong, and filling it in by hand is the fix.

How do I change my logo, colours or description?

Brand & style in the sidebar. It holds the logo, the company name and website, the colours, the brand assets and the written company information, and it is the only route to editing the brand.

Corrections can also just be said in the chat — "we don't sell that any more", "our tagline is X" — and they are recorded against the brand. The panel is better for colours, logo and long text; the chat is better for a single fact.

Can I manage more than one brand?

Yes. The account switcher at the top of the sidebar holds every brand, with Add Account to create another. How many you can have is set by your plan: 3 on Starter, 5 on Pro, unlimited on Business.

Each brand is fully separate — its own content, assets, connections and credits.

Can I change my account type later?

No. The type of account is fixed at signup — a company account, a travel agency, a property developer. It decides which formats the composer offers and how the agent works, and it cannot be switched afterwards. If you signed up as the wrong type, that is a support question.

Do I have to complete the style step?

No. The step that generates a couple of on-brand samples is optional, is not run automatically, and skipping it holds nothing back.
